A Sophisticated & Colorful Nursery

When we found out our close friend Katie was expecting her first baby, we were just over the moon! After soaking in the exciting news, we immediately offered to help her with the design of the nursery. It was such a wonderful collaboration working with her on this project and creating a special place for her sweet little girl, Presley.

Katie had already decided on a colorful rug from Lulu & Georgia, which served as our inspiration for the entire room. From there, we added a mix of mid-century modern furniture, gold accents and bohemian touches to create a unique look. The finished design feels sophisticated, calming and peaceful.

One of our goals for the space was to select furniture and finishes that could grow up with Presley, providing years of enjoyment. With the exception of the crib, all of the pieces in the room can easily be transitioned into her teenage years and even adulthood.
